First Class Cabin Amenities
The two classes of first class service are called the Royal Laurel and Premium Royal Laurel Class. Royal Laurel Class cabins are laid out to maximize space for each passenger. The seating area for each passenger in Royal Laurel Class includes a fixed panel that offers privacy and defines your seating area. The seats convert into a fully flat bed position so passengers can sleep during their flight. The seat in Royal Laurel class measures two meters long and the area surrounding the seat is spacious enough to stretch your legs. There is a space to store your belongings and hang your jackets, a shoe storage area, and a small table.
Restaurant quality meals are served through EVA Air’s pre-order menu. Passengers select from a wide range of main courses and sides prior to departure. Inflight entertainment is provided on a personal HD touchscreen and noise-canceling headphones are provided by EVA Air. Royal Laurel passenger’s seating areas are equipped with USB and iPod ports. Passengers can work comfortably from the table in their seating area.

Royal Laurel passengers also enjoy priority check-in at the airport, extra baggage accommodations, and priority baggage unloading. EVA Air operates VIP lounges and Royal Laurel Class passengers can enjoy all of the amenities these lounges provide including food, beverages, a relaxing environment to wait for your flight, and a concierge who can answer any questions you might have. The lounge offers hot meals, a variety of snacks, and many desserts for first class passengers. You can sit at the bar and order a cocktail or relax at a table until it’s time to board your flight. The attendant at the lounge will check you in and can go over the available amenities. At the lounges, you can also charge your electronic devices, collaborate on a work project, or just relax and finish planning your vacation. Most lounges offer spa-like restrooms where you can shower after a long flight or just refresh yourself for your upcoming journey.
The Premium Laurel Class Cabin features state of the art hard shell seats that measure 62 inches and come with fully adjustable headrests and footrests. The premium seat also includes adjustable lumbar support and ergonomic features. Inflight entertainment is provided via EVA Air’s Star Gallery which features interactive games, noise-canceling headphones, and a 10.4 inch or 15.4-inch personal video screen (depending on your aircraft). On-demand movies, television programs, music, and video games are available. The seating area in the Premium Laurel cabin also includes a 110-volt power outlet, adjustable LED reading lamps, and retractable dividers to ensure privacy but also allow for collaboration if needed. SMS and email services are also provided.
EVA Air’s Premium Laurel Class serves five-star meals, fine appetizers, desserts, and a salad bar. Meals are served on fine china. Premium Laurel Class passengers also receive an overnight kit with cleanser, lotions, and other products. Blankets and pillows are provided for additional comfort.
